One Hundred Years: What will be beheld?

The combination of numbers marking this day in the Gregorian Calendar will not occur for another one hundred years ... a date witnessed perhaps by someone born today. What will that person behold?
Today President Obama reports a "lessening war". He brings troops home. He supports the Arab Spring, and gives mild support to the Occupy Wall Street version of that movement. Tap into that movement's intent and make the message mainstream and he can win in 2012. The good news is that he appears to be doing that. This Movement may yet be the back bone for a new world order based on the rule of law. But, still, those who believe war is the answer are strong and have a proven record of success in turning their world view into international policy. Doing Battle With War Itself
For while President Obama strikes a hopeful note of a world less at war, I see no game changer that would earn him his Nobel Peace Prize of 2009. But then he has a bellicose public to deal with in an election year. We the people of the United States of America like our military industrial complex and ignore warnings that this complex could destroy us (Eisenhower > Amazon). Whatever the reasons, there is nothing from the president that suggest a dramatic alteration of our present course toward a world ruled evermore by war.
Human energy too follows one of Newton's laws of energy; once an object is launched into motion it continues to move in a straight line unless acted upon by an outside force. The course may be slightly curved at cosmological levels, as space and time are curved and gravitational fields might warp under the influence of the "Parallax" effect, by which the gravitation of one star or planet bends the light rays coming from a star or planet behind it from our perspective on earth (Einstein > Amazon). Our historical path going forward will have many twists and bends, but in the end the forces at play beneath the surface, our human inner cosmology, favors war.
Unless some outside force comes into play.
Will the global citizen of 11.11.2111 bear witness to humanity defined by a "narrow miss" with World War III, and the ushering in of an Age of Peace? Or will she or he witness the aftermath of this war in the form of the Age of Catastrophe? A best guess as of today is the latter. But as they say, "only time will tell". World-War-Three
