To world leaders, intellectual, poetic, corporate, political and religious and all peace loving people: Calling forth an amendment to establish a conference under United Nations Charter Article 109. The purpose of the conference: To abolish the veto and begin the process of a transforming the United Nations to a legistative world parliament to address through justice the grave injustices that threaten World War III. The only question before humanity for this century is do we have to go through World War III to learn the lesson? The Age of Catastrophe on present course.
What do we the people of humanity want: A humanity ruled by justice. We the people of humanity united in demanding global justice for global crimes, national and local justice for national and local crimes.
Our Foundation: The Declaration of Universal Human Rights. When every human has these rights as a matter of daily life, this is humanity at peace. It is time to finish the work engineered by Eleanor Roosevelt post World War II. Dare we forget this wisdom?
Our treaty: We the people of humanity in large numbers signed the Kellogg-Briand pact in 1928 to ban war, but failed to put in place enforcement mechanisms and World War II came to pass.
The question before us: Do have to go through World War III to get the lesson.
Action: Calling forth and voting for leaders who call for a doctrine of peace as official foreign policy.
Let us not forget what is at stake. People are afraid of peace and do not fully trust justice to keep them safe. War the back up plan when all else fails, even as it seems so senseless.
To make the Age of Peace a possible in the minds of humanity we must help them begin the long and scary task of “stepping down” … all sides at the peace table as we negotiate the challenges of a resource challenged humanity. Do we allow fear and those who benefit from fear mongering to have the day, or do we sit as family across table working out solutions and if that does not work every one gets a fair hearing in court.
People will to learn to trust the process of making real peace a reality as they see it happening.
